„To be continued” is SÍN Arts Centre’s work-in-progress programme, created to support artists in the less visible stages of the creative process. We believe that artistic sustainability also means having the time and space to experiment, ask questions, share unfinished ideas, receive feedback and learn from one another.
The programme offers contemporary dance artists and collectives working at SÍN the opportunity to open up their creative process and share a work in progress with an audience and professional community. Rather than presenting finished productions, folyt.köv. focuses on works that are still taking shape – where ideas can change, questions remain open, and new directions can emerge. Each edition is developed in collaboration with the participating artists, and may take the form of an open rehearsal, studio showing, workshop or another format that best serves the work and its current stage.
At the heart of folyt.köv. is the idea that the process itself deserves a space. By creating opportunities for artists to show, discuss and reflect on works before they are finished, the programme encourages exchange, experimentation and mutual
